Technical Project Management
I provide Technical Management for projects in automotive and industrial product development projects. Strong relationship with customers, product management and development team is mandatory. Clear requirement base and milestone plans aligned with actual companies and teams capabilities is the basic strategy I apply.
System Architecture
Modern embedded systems are growing more complex more networked and service based. This generates the need to provide a broad technological experience base for design and analysis processes. International teams are mostly mandatory, good communication with suppliers and 3rd party/suppliers development teams is rerquired to build a reliable and scalable system design.
Software Architecture
On specific applications and function chains I provide software architecture services for embedded systems. These architectures may or may not include multithread real time operating systems or bare metal. Software Design process includes the appropriate Requirement Process alignment.
Requirements Management
Most development projects but especially automotive projects come with standardized Requirement Management processes which need to be aligned with existing internal processes, applied variants and tool sets. Adapting to existing and bring function chains to a clear specification status that can be worked along by the development teams and agreed upon with customers is main focus.
Software Development
Embedded systems software requires close hands on hardware. Development in a simulated environment or directly on chip is often both helpful and neccessary. Detailed knowledge of µC and SoC is required to implement application chains.
Process Management
In many projects I found that processes are living things and change or adapt over the projects life cycle. Adapting and developing processes along the way is often required.
